Here is where you choose the flavor of XEN you would like to run. You can change the Xen machine type at any time via our support ticket system (Please note we will only change this once per month without charge). Typically, most users will choose a Linux distribution from our self-installing PV templates (only supports Linux). You should choose PV if you just want one of the listed Linux PV templates, or if you'd like an automated install. You can also choose HVM or Hardware Virtual Machine. This is usually for the advanced user or those who like to fine-tune settings of the operating system installation. You should choose HVM if you plan on using Windows, *BSD, or any other non-Linux operating system.
